Never too late for the web!
Recently, there has been noise made about businesses feeling like they have to make cuts to their budget and our customers have been looking for more cost effective ways to market their business. An essential part of your business marketing strategy is having a web window. Once you are on this technology wave, there are a few quick fixes to improve your business website stickiness…
Here are some reminder tips to look at for your website, to keep customers coming back to you:
- Look at the experts in your field and note what they are doing to attract customers.
- Find words and phrases that you connect with and adapt them to your site.
- Customise these words and phrases until they become your own.
- Be sure your most important content is placed high on the page so visitors to your site will see it.
- Create accessible forms. Make sure that your forms can be filled out by all visitors.
- Add a short “about” page. Put a real person and picture behind your site by allowing your visitors to learn a bit about you and your brand.
- KISS. Simplify your message, do this to avoid confusing visitors, while at the same time improving conversion rates.
- Tell visitors what to do. Revise your site to ensure that people know exactly what the next step is. If you want a visitor to click a link, tell them.
- Offer comparisons. Make it easier for your reader to understand and relate to your business by offering case studies, scenarios and real life stories
- Have a text-based site map. With a text-based site map, lost visitors can find their way, and you’ll make it easy for search engine spiders to find your pages.
- Create specific landing pages. If you want to sell, make sure you have landing pages for specific campaigns, each of those pages has a purpose and you can capture their details.
Remember results do matter and you can measure them via your reporting tools in your Sauce Software system.
